Attorney Richard M. Serkey's practice as an attorney is concentrated in real estate law. Richard is a graduate of Brandeis University and Boston College. He represents land owners and those interested in purchasing commercial or residential property before local boards and commissions in zoning and other municipal matters. Attorney Serkey works with engineers and surveyors, reviewing subdivision and condominium plans. He reviews title abstracts on the basis of which he certifies title and issues title insurance policies to buyers and lenders. Attorney Serkey does claims work for title insurance companies in response to claims by their insureds. He tries cases in the Land Court.
